By hiring through Dressed By Issy you are automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions. 

These terms are subject to change at any point. 

Payments and Collection:

When making a booking, payments secure your hire. When a promotion is running, you must use that code on your booking to redeem the discount. Hires which are paid for in full are not eligible for partial refunds due to missed promotion. 

Dresses will not be posted or picked up before complete payment has been processed. If an outfit is not picked up, you will not receive a refund or store credit. It is your responsibility as the customer to pick up your outfit for your event and if you need to cancel, it must be cancelled prior to your hire. 

For all bookings made online, you must contact us before collecting your hire garment. This is out of courtesy for the owner of Dressed By Issy. 

Returning Garments

All garments must be returned by 6pm on the end day of your hire. If you cannot return by this time, you will need to arrange this PRIOR to hiring.

When posting a dress back, you must send a photo of the lodgement receipt to @dressedbyissy on Instagram. If you fail to do so, you will be liable for late fees if the garment is delayed, or liable to pay the RRP if the garment goes missing. Posted hires must be posted back express before the 4pm cut off time the next business day. Garments ARE NOT to be returned via Uber. If you return via Uber, you will be liable to pay the retail price if it gets delivered to the wrong house (or goes missing) or gets stolen.

 Late fees will be incurred for all hires, regardless of postage or pick up if the garment is not returned by the accurate time.

For all pick up hires, the hire period is 3 days unless discussed otherwise, including the day of your event. For example, if your event is on a Saturday, you will have the dress from Friday and return it to me by 6pm on Sunday. Any day after this will incur late fees starting at $15.

For postage hires, late fees will be incurred if the dress is not posted to me, with proof of lodgement, the next business day after your event. For example, if your even is on a Saturday, you must post the dress on the following Monday. Any day after this will incur late fees starting at $15. 

Should you fail to return a dress to Dressed By Issy, a police report will be filed, and you will be charged RRP AND and the fee from any lost hires.

Garment Care

Treat the garment with care and be mindful when using fake tan, perfume, makeup and around food and drinks.

Dressed By Issy is a rental company. All dresses are hire garments, meaning they have been worn before. While we do our best to maintain the highest quality of the garment, there may be signs of wear which do not qualify for refunds.

Any damages, including payment for repairs or additional cleaning fees will be charged to the customer. Please note that you may also be liable for the cost of future bookings if Dressed By Issy needs to cancel another customer’s booking. If the customer is required to pay the RRP of an item, this payment is separate to the payment of the hire. For example, if you pay $50 to hire, this price is NOT taken off the RRP payment. This is a separate fee.

Dressed By Issy has the final say on whether the condition of a dress is hireable. If we deem an outfit unfit for hire due to damage or stains caused by the wearer, the item is no longer of value to us as stock and the customer must pay the RRP value.

If there is damage to the garment BEFORE it is worn by the customer, the customer must take a photo of the damage and send it to Dress By Issy before it is worn. If this is not done, the customer is liable to pay for the damage.

Immediately notify us of ANY damage to the garment during the hire period.

The customer is not permitted to alter the garment under any circumstances. 

Cleaning

We carefully hand wash all our garments, dry cleaning is NOT included in the hire price. If the garment is returned with any form of staining that is not hand washable, the customer is required to pay a dry clean fee. In cases where dry cleaning is unsuccessful, the customer will also be required to pay the RRP of the garment.

The customer is not permitted in any case to clean the garment themselves. Garments are delicate and require certain cleaning to avoid damage. Under no circumstances are any garments to be tumble dried. This results in shrinking and the customer will be charged the RRP of the dress to replace it. 

Refunds:

Refunds are unavailable if the request is made less than 3 days before the first date of the selected hire period. If for unexpected circumstances e.g COVID-19, you will receive a full refund on all hire garments. 

Refunds are available if the request is made more than 3 days before the first date of the selected hire period. You will be charged a $5 administration fee.
